Our Story
Who is Zonke Izizwe?

'Zonke Izizwe Community Projects' is a Christian non profit organisation dedicated to the upliftment of all people in Langa. It does so through our core foundations of building into lives spiritually as well as physically.

We do so through a Christ centred approach.

Zonke Izizwe means “Every Nation” in Xhosa, and indicates that this is a sister organisation to the work of Every Nation Langa Church, which was founded in Langa in 2014. The Zonke Izizwe Community projects funds the work of the church to uplift and provide for the needs of our community. It provides the means that income can be raised, either through fund-raising or income generating work. The finances are then dedicated, financially accounted for, through this organisation and utilised to advance lives both spiritually and physically.

Our Story

Every Nation Langa

Every Nation Langa started in 2014, with a heart to reach the community in Christ, to break down boundaries that separate white and black, and uplift lives both spiritually and physically. We meet every Sunday at 3pm, in Zone 9 Community Hall.

We have a strong youth contingent, and provide a lot of assistance in the development of those under 30.

We have no permanent staff, so the church community in Christ becomes the foundation of everything we do. Church becomes more then just a place of religion, but a place of life, where members are trained in learning about Christ, learning life skills, encouraged in school work, and building their futures together.
